Biography
Austin graduated from Oregon State University in 2022. During his college summers he worked as a wildland firefighter and later was involved in logging roads and harvest layout. Post graduation, he worked for a large timber company doing forest road design, culvert design, and working with permitting agencies during the transition to the new forest operations rules.
Austin came to McGee in December of 2023. Since becoming part of the team, he has applied his engineering training at McGee Engineering to a variety of bridge engineering disciplines and is currently pursuing his engineering license. Specifically, he has worked to build experience with bridge inspections, contractor support engineering, and off-highway bridge design and detailing.
When Austin is not working, he enjoys spending time outdoors camping, hiking, and riding motorcycles.
